  • No health risks for workers
  • Skin contact is not harmful as WEARMAX Cleaner has a pH value lying between neutral and slightly alkaline
  • No harmful vapors
  • No necessary protection measure required
  • Safety data available
  • Use walk off mats at all entrances and doorways to reduce grit
  • Dust mop or vacuum daily
  • Do not use any oils or waxes on dust mop
  • Use a sponge mop dampened slightly with soft water or WearMax Cleaner, on a regular basis (weekly) to remove soil
  • Never use anything other than water or WearMax Cleaner on your WearMax finish

Your WearMax Finish is Easy to Keep Clean

  • Blot up spills and spots immediately

  • Just dust mop your floor with a clean dust mop (do not use anything on your dust mop)
  • Mop your floors with a high quality sponge mop (use only clean soft water, nothing else is needed)
  • Do not use any cleaners on your floor except WearMax Cleaner
  • Wring out the sponge mop vigorously, mop in the direction of the grain (if you see water on your floor, your sponge is probably too wet)

  • You may want to press the mop head into a dry towel to remove excess moisture (for heavily soiled floors, use WearMax Cleaner as directed)

  • Do not use wax, polish, or abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring powder

Protecting Your Finish

  • Use quality area rugs and doormats by outdoor entrance areas to prevent dirt, sand, grit, and other substances such as oil, asphalt or driveway sealer from being tracked onto your floor
  • Use quality felt floor protectors or wide bearing furniture rests with felt bottoms (the wider the protector, the better)
  • Never use rolling casters on your wood floors
  • Avoid gouges or cuts in your floor from sharp objects
  • While your WearMax job-site floor is the most wear-resistant finish on the market, sharp or pointed objects can nevertheless damage it and your floor
  • Don't walk on your floor with "stiletto-style" heels (stiletto heels and other high-pressure point objects may cause indentations on the finish and wood floor)

  • Sunlight can have an effect on natural wood floors (rearrange area rugs and furniture periodically to minimize light discoloration)

  • Keep pet's nails trimmed and filed in order to minimize surface indentations
  • Use an air tire dolly when moving heavy appliances or furniture, but first put down a sheet of quarter-inch plywood or Masonite to protect the floor surface (never try to slide or roll heavy objects across the floor without precautions)
