Can the Advanced Ceramic
Finish be applied over Amorim's cork that already has your finish factory
applied?
If this is done on a brand new installation prior to any traffic, can just the
Shield be applied, or are the Sealer and Armor also necessary?
The Advanced Ceramic Finish can be applied over Amorim's cork. The procedure is as follows:
Abrade with a 120 grit screen
Apply Adhesion Primer (ID#6507)
Apply Armor (ID#6501)
Apply Shield (ID#6502-X) (the
"x" represents the sheen level)
You can skip the Armor coat in
the process above, if you desire, but you will lose some scratch resistance as
a result.
